As supportive therapy, Dexamethason may be used in the management of various rheumatic,
allergic, dermatologic, and other diseases known to be responsive to anti-inflammatory
corticosteroids. Dexamethasone may be used intravenously as supportive therapy when an
immediate hormonal response is required.
